Scope is a children’s science show, showcasing Science and Technology stories by a range of experts - from acclaimed university researchers to factory engineers, passionate zookeepers and elite sportspeople – giving the audience a personalised view of the scientific world. I was a TV talent for episode 53 explaining my PhD research on frog skin, sloughing, and the chytrid fungus.

Description:
Fresh Science is a national competition helping early-career researchers find, and then share, their stories of discovery. The program takes up-and-coming researchers with no media experience and turns them into spokespeople for science, giving them a taste of life in the limelight, with a day of media training and a public event in their home state. I was selected as the finalist to present at the public science night.

I was involved with filming for the marketing ad for the Masters of Conservation Biology degree at UQ. I supervised the students with handling frogs and the swabbing procedure, as well as giving a statement on amphibian conservation.
